Alessandro Nivola answers our questions after a recent appearance on The Leonard Lopate Show.

What have you read or seen lately (book, play, film, etc.) that moved or surprised you?

Gomorrah (best movie of last 2 years)
What are you listening to right now?

What’s the last great book you read?

Philip Roth’s American Pastoral

What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

The Scorpions

If you only had one day left, how would you spend it in New York City?

At Tatiana restaurant on the Brighton Beach boardwalk
