Just a point of information - Scoop (Henry) Jackson was a Democrat. Certainly a supporter of a capable military using Boeing equipment but didn't forget society's obligation to the less fortunate around us.
Red State/Blue State map first used by USA Today. I know one of the database analysts that worked on it.
