It's an assault on local small growers
I just cannot understand why the one of the largest countries on earth with such vast amounts of luscious and fertile lands has to have taxpayers subsidize food growers! It's just incredible. There has to be a global free market in foodstuffs. Britain has been importing 50% of its food for well over a century now.
