Where the (Marais des Cygnes) Osage river meets the Potowatomie
In an area previously occupied by the Osage and Patowatomi Indians.
Troubled soul? He was troubled by troubling things.
He was an extremely convicted personality -- like Steve Jobs, etc. and many other high achievers. But the insanity angle, like Horwitz says, really seems a lame attempt to dismiss.
