Why are we wasting all that money on space when there is so much to do here on earth? Uhm? Communication satellites? Weather satellites? Spy and resource monitoring satellites? Computers small and powerful? All of our miniature and light electronics? Intelligent artificial limbs? Computer implants to control bad heart? Present day medical equipment and techniques? Present day manufacturing? Google? Maps? My cell phone? My I Pod? Uhm? I wonder! What does this space stuff have to do with here on earth??? I wonder!
NASA's website (www.nasa.gov) has a link to info on the benefits the space program has had for us on Earth.
And so America enters the era of unexceptionalism.......
