Paul Provenza discusses his upcoming season of “The Green Room with Paul Provenza.” He’s spent a lifetime in the comedy trenches as a stand-up/director/producer, earning the trust and respect of his fellow comics and his audience. He is best known for directing and co-producing the scathing documentary “The Aristocrats.” He’s joined by comedian Billy Connolly, who was featured in “The Aristocrats.” The new season of “The Green Room with Paul Provenza” starts on Showtime July 14.

Paul is doing more to revitalize the Comedy scene than anyone else in America. It's great to hear him being interviewed, to see him being recognized. And Billy doesn't suck either.
Nice to see Paul interviewing people with talent. Too bad that's the closest he'll ever get to having any himself.
I'm not sure how far down the "comedy theft" route you want to go, but is Carlos Mencia the biggest joke thief out there today?
Are comedy clubs dead and, if so, what killed them?
