millions of gallons of oil spilled at Newtown Creek...(?)
on a "55" acre site (?)
How many acres there have been, potentially, contaminated...?
When I was a kid, my neighbor, a backyard auto mechanic, told me 1 quart of oil, spilled, would contaminate acres of land.
WITH MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF OIL SPILLED INTO THE CREEK AND LEACHING INTO THE SOIL...
what is the real level of contamination...?
