More I Cannot Wish You is a terrific song, with a beautiful lyric, one of Frank Loesser's best. It deserves to be played much more often on national radio.
"Guys and Dolls" is an example of Hollywood's ruining a great Broadway production. Marlon Brando was a stiff playing Sjy Masterson while Robert Alda was perfect. Frank Sinatra sang too well as Nathan Detroit where as Sam Levene had it just right. Even the songs- they pulled out the wonderful "I'll Know" and substituted "A Woman in Love", one of Loesser's lesser efforts. (no pun intended).
