Telsa did invent the radio, and in 1943, the U.S. Supreme Court recognized as much, overturning the U.S. Patents Office earlier decision in favor of Marconi. One might argue that the court decision was political, but it stands.
It would be interesting to believe, but Tesla did not invent the radio. He invited many other things, but not the radio.
But I suppose I shouldn't be science fact checking a comedy writer.
