Harmonica virtuoso Robert Bonfiglio, plays for us, and discusses his performance with the American Symphony Orchestra at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall. He’ll be performing the “Concerto for Harmonica” written by Henry Cowell, who is often called the father of American classical music, in a program devoted exclusively to the composer. RE: Larry from Nyack
The French films "Jean de Florette" and "Manon of the Spring" have wonderful soundtracks by Toots Thielemans, a brilliant jazz harmonica player.
Robert Bonfigilo is also an amazing teacher of the instrument and a music master in his own right. This is a special gift he has given back to many of us. I am one of the fortunate few who got to study with him. Like many of us. Robert has changed many lives in the course of his career. He changed mine. And I am forever grateful for the chance to meet and play with him
I love listening to classical music, but listening to Robert Bonfiglio play his harmonica just blew me away. It kicked it up a notch and made the music sound rich, colorful, and just plain beautiful.

Lovely music. I like it so much and I'm searching for his music too. :-)
So beautiful. I'm currently on amazon.com searching for his CDs.
Aside from Bronson's role of "Harmonica" in Leone's film "Once Upon a Time in the West", were there any memorable film scores with solo harmonica?
