During today's interview, Ms Ephron mentioned a bakery which bakes "the best cherry pie in NYC." I am enamored of cherry pie. I'd love to know which bakery she's referring to.

I meant to write, "and that those of us who are not sad are delusional"

Nora is coping with her own sadness by claiming that she is a realist and those of us who are not are delusional. These are her problems. The rest of us are out jogging. My 91-year old uncle works out every day, and his memory is just fine. My 87 year old aunt cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 12 people. We have many friends who are traveling the world, taking courses, driving cars (a Ferrari in one case) -- and are over 65.

Nora, I'm sorry that you feel this way about yourself and your life, but don't put the grief on us.
