It took me a while to find, but this is the charity that distributes food for the weekend to hungry children: http://www.blessingsinabackpack.org/Home.aspx
She is amazing!!!!
What an amazingly forgiving and beautiful soul. I could help but tears came when she spoke of eating Chapstick and toothpaste. The organizations that Liz mentioned should be better known by everyone.. One was called "The Door"? What are the others? What are the links? How can we get involved?
It was very touching.I was very impressed to hear about a teeneager who overcome difficulties to achive what other teenagers donot even think about ast hey find hundred excuses . She is real inspiration
Where is the link/info to the charity Liz Murray mentioned that helps feed teenagers?

Would like to send donation. Thanks.
So inspiring and yet another reminder of how lucky most of us really are. Kudos.
She's incredible.
You guest has an amazing story and perspective. This may be off topic but it would be interesting to know her opinions on drugs (not marijuana) but how does she feel about legalization?
