Great questions as always, however I wish you had brought up Afganistan issue with comparison to Vietnam much earlier. She stated Vietnam as such an exception and could not touch on why. She mentioned Iraqi matter but almost none for Afganistan maintaining pro-Obama perspective.
She may not be the person to ask these kinds of intrieguing questions. She is now a retired diplomat being between in a People magazine and writing this fancy memoir.
