Oh, the fond memories I have of taking off with my college professor to visit Florence, visting museums, drawing around the city, visiting the old leftist strongholds....those good old days.
A production with black actors in both roles was done at the Kavinoky theater in Buffalo, NY over 10 years ago.
As an untenured white female professor with mostly minority students, I think it would be very interesting to switch up gender and race in the play.
It is really hard to meet with students about grades and their problems and give them privacy while also keeping the door open when you don't even have your own office.
I have tickets for Nov. 13th. I'm really looking forward to seeing Mr. Pullman and Ms. Stiles in this play.
