Michael Chabon talks about what it means to be a man today. His collection of essays, Manhood for Amateurs: The Pleasures and Regrets of a Husband, Father, and Son, is Chabon’s first long work of personal writing, and in it he offers reflections, regrets and reexaminations of his life.

I retract my earlier question...from the title I thought this would be wittier....
The first betrayal.... that made me sad. We did it because my husband is circumcised and we thought it would be weird for our boy if he didn't look like his dad.
Of course it's generational and situational. When I see men doing what the author talks about - paying attention, touching, holding their children - I want to cry. I do see his point about women get little praise.
You are a "good" husband for writing this book.
If Mr. Chabon could be a woman for a day, who would he choose to be?!
