"Our Town"

Thornton Wilder’s play "Our Town" is considered a classic of American theater. David Cromer joins us to talk about directing and acting in his new off-Broadway revival of the play.

Thorton Wilder wrote Our Town while a resident of the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The names for some of the characters in the play were inspired by the names on the headstones of the Peterborough cemetery, across from which I once lived, and often visit.
