Leonard were you being coy about why she lives in Wash DC? How could you NOT know who her husband is, Robert Altman was very publicly prosecuted in 1992 by Morgenthau for securities fraud.. .they were on TV every night--and I lived in Kansas at the time but I presume for New Yorkers it was top news. A cursory google search would've shown that.

She didn't sound anything like I remember. Was suffering a cold? I honestly thought she was possibly a bit drunk. I didn't hear the bit where she admitted to being an alcoholic.

I bought her first album in the 1980s, clunky songs but I thought vocally she was promising.

I'm glad I stuck around for the interview, 'cause she turned out to be charming, interesting, even funny, but I must say that the opening recording -- 'You Send Me' -- was so undistinguished, I thought it was the lead-in to one of language maven Patricia O'Connor's periodic visits.

I hope she's a more engaging performer live in concert.

Linda Thank you from all the little girls from the 70's who needed the empowerment and confidence builder that the character wonder woman provided! Good luck to you.

Your guest and your readers may be interested to know that when Wonder Woman was brought to Israel, they chose the name ESHET HAYIL for the show. The phrase, taken from Proverbs 31, is a pun, because it's a traditional religious poem read by a husband to his wife, and in addition to "woman of valor," it also means, "woman of might."

When the show first aired, thousands of ultra-orthodox viewers tuned in only to find a scantily dressed woman....

SHE SEEMS VERY PLEASANT; BUT SOME PEOPLE SHOULD NOT SING ON THE RADIO UNREHEARSED
SHE SHOULD BE HAPPY FOR "WONDER WOMAN"

She admitted to being an alcoholic. What drove her to it and how is she holding up?
