Re: Jeff from Manhattan--for God's sake, the movie is nearly 60 YEARS OLD. If you don't want to know details, turn off the radio and rent (or go see) the movie.
Jeez.
Why would you give away details of the plot? I have never seen the movie and I was thinking about going to the screening tonight. Now I know that Shelley Winters's character gets killed. This is not the first time I have heard guests on this show describe integral plot elements of movies or plays or books that take away from the intended effect of being surprised when seeing or reading something for the first time.
