The team's in town. Too much trouble for Keith to come down to the studio?
It was great to listen to Keith. Too bad baseball isn't what it use to be...or the Mets for that matter.
Great insights and coments from Hernandez. Compelling interview, LL.
What a pleasure to hear Hernandez free-ranging on all things baseball. Mex knows the game inside out. His journey from player to analyst has been marked by civility, unapologetic intelligence, and an expanding worldview, encompassing the financial side, the politics of ownership, and a longer, historical perspective.
Next? Keith for Kommish!
He's an 11 time Golden Gloves award winner. He was a great boxer. ;)
Keith (smooth operator) was the paradigm for how a 1st Basemen should play the game.
Maybe, Keith wouldn't mind a little 'jet-stream' effect at Shea similar to the new COORS FIELD in the Bronx?
Keith wrote another book years ago called "Pure Baseball." The title pretty much describes it. He dissects two games, pitch by pitch, explaining strategy, matchups, etc. Recommended for anyone who wants to be a more engaged, knowledgeable fan.
Dan Warthen seems to be a change for the better as pitching coach. Did Keith H. pick up on anything wrong with the coach before him (I forget his name)?
Have Keith talk about the time he was on Seinfeld.
