I'd like to see that video of the skunk being freed from a bottle. Perhaps it can be posted on the web?

Twice a year (Oct. and April) we get a bunch of green parrots that always eat from the same tree. What kind of parrots are these.

In Stuyvesant Town, we've had red-tail hawks for several years. They find the squirrels and pigeons tasty. This summer, we had at least one very noisy woodpecker, as well as at least one swarm of fireflies.

My birdfeeder attracts cardinals, sparrows, bluejays and a NYC pigeon. Should I discontinue the use of the birdfeeder?

what about feeding pigeons. isn't their diet mainly seeds, and, since they can't find much of that in the city, shouldn't we feed them seeds?

i've heard that turtles and horseshoe crabs from the local parks and waters often end up in the markets of Chinatown.
is this legal and if not is anything done to thwart this market,

Don't forget, this place is also a major by-way for migrating wildlife. Birds pass through on the East Coast Flyway, whales use the waters off shore.

There are people in my neighborhood that feed pigeons. Does assisting pigeons harm the other animals in the park?
