I think I was stung last weekend working in the yard..now everyone says I would know if I was stung...but I did not find a stinger only a little red bump, but it hurt like the devil!! I limp/ran into the bathroom (10 seconds away maybe) and immediately poured alcohol followed by hydrogen peroxide on my ankle. I don't know if the bees didn't have time to gather or what but thankfully no others came. Big mystery...where did the stinger go?
