I agree with comments above: Why is there no audio for this show? I'd be particularly interested in hearing the music; it's a favorite score of mine. Thank you

The Lopate Show responds: Thank you for alerting us to this problem. We are working to make the audio for this segment available.

I'd like the mp3 or podcast of the 1/23/09 Pal Joey interview with Stockard Channing and Martha Plimpton as well. I've searched your site, I'm subscribed and received all other 1/23 podcasts.

I was unable to hear it live.

Would you consider adding it to the site and the podcasts as you did the other material from the same day?

Not everyone is always available to listen live!

I'd love to hear it.

I tried to listen to the 1/23/09 archive broadcast of the interview about Pal Joey with Channing and Plimpton. However, there was no audio link to this segment--even tho there were audio links to all of the other segments of that day's Lopate show. Was this an inadvertent omission or is ther another reason.

Please tell these self-important women that parading around on a stage for taste-free tourists shouldn't be described with adjectives like "Brave" and "Courageous"..

Save that for firefighters and our troops.

Or get a dictionary and some perspective.
