What evidence is there that Baader Meinhof paterend itself after Lehi??

Also, what's really ironic is the story Aust mentioned that one of the Baader Meinhof terrorists still alive is conflicted between his support of Palestinian terrorists and the Palestinian terrorists hero worship of Adolf Hitler - this is a particularly ironic and not uncommon predicament for those on the extreme Left as they allign with other extremists...

There have been nightly cases of arson for the past six months in Berlin- people are setting fire to police cars and luxury cars in recently gentrified neighborhoods. Is this history starting to repeat itself?

Baader Meinhof ironically modelled itself after the extreme Lehi Zionist movement of the forties.Intially adopted the letter bomb which was introduced by the Stern Gang,a Lehi ofshoot,headed by future Israel PM,Yitsach Shamir who was involved in Assasinations of the UN's mediator Count Bernadotte and UK high commissioner Lord Moyne.
Shamir always considered a hero in Israel ad rewarded with premiership post.

Could you ask your guest to comment on the way the European press and many left wing groups perceived Baader Meinhof at the time? Living there at the time it felt they were idolized as a brainy group of folks who were not always on the wrong side of the issues, and in my opinion, incorrectly, not always reported on as a terrorist group, but rather a left wing ideology group. I often felt the victims were reported on in a more negative view than BM.
