I found this documentary to be entertaining, thought-provoking, and informative. The interviewees' candor is something everyone should see!

Unfortunately the Atwater/Rove way of politics has infiltrated the minds of voters, through fear, not only of terrists, but of eternal damnation. How long can a civilization continue with this form of policy? It seems we may find out this week as our already weak economy tumbles. Any reminders of 1935?

Karl Rove and his mentor have been the most cynical, destructive forces in politics ever. How can anyone say that things were worse in years past? Our current president did take this gutter technique one level lower in using Rove's methods to convey his policy. I think Atwater and Rove have down more damage to our political system than anyone in this generation..They have no morals and yet wave the flag and praise God...What HYPOCRITS!

And Karl Rove, too. Anding knowing about them makes them less effective in misleading the already too ignorant voters elect even more incompetent leaders who will bankrupt our country while following their perceived short term interest. So what is your point, PJBeee?

Whatever truth there is to the comments of PJBeee, it doesn't make Atwater any less dispicable.

Politics IS war (unfortunately). You should look at the broadsides and attacks that have occurred throughout history (US and otherwise). Politicians have been attacking each other's character and integrity, sometimes viciously, like, forever. Some of the lies that we see today are nothing compared with those of a hundred years ago.
