Are there any successful treatments? Are there any drug treatments that don't have negative side effects?
Can you talk about THC; regeneration of Pyramoidal cell regeneration. Are there any new studies on this and it's connection to Alzheimer's?
My mother's Alzheimer's became more noticeable after going under general anesthesia during cataract surgery. Is there any indication of a connection to anesthestics?

I missed the beginning of the show... How would you suggest broaching the subject with an elderly parent who doesn't want to address the symptoms of memory loss etc??
I have heard that a sudden tendency to frequently make errors in easy math, along with short-term memory problems, indicate Alzheimer's. What else could it indicate? Could encephalitis from lack of blood flow (inflamed blood vessels) do it?
please ask about the parallels between kreutzfeld-jacob disease, alzheimer's and dementia, please. much has been written about this, but i rarely hear it discussed in mainstream media broadcast.

My son and his friend, both with Grandmothers with alzheimers, started an organization, "Remember Alzheimers". They sell bracelets and raise awareness in the high school age group. Their website is rememberalzheimers. org if anyone would like to buy a bracelet. Also, there is a"memory walk" this Sunday in Norwalk, Ct to raise money for the cause.
