Present surname is conversion into Hebrew of "Spiegelman" in Hebrew letters, applying the first three letters (S,P & I).
I was born in 1929 in Slawkow, Poland taken by my parents to mandatory Palestine in 1933, when Hitler came to power. I met Art's father on a visit to NYC, while visiting my relative Greenberg, whose mother was a Spiegelman and he was in the diamond business on 47th St.
I grew up in Tel Aviv and read Mouse in Hebrew and English. At my age and close
to Holocaust remembrence day, I still wish to find out whether Art Spiegelman is a relative by receiving his mail address.
Would greatly appreciate receiving regular
or E.mail address.
Thanks for your assistance.
Best regards
Menahem Sheffy (ex-Spiegelman)
