Vernon Jordan: Make It Plain

Monday, November 10, 2008

Vernon Jordan talks about how the power of words has helped Black Americans to assert their rights and pass on their culture -- and how Barack Obama fits into that tradition. Jordan served as chairman of the Clinton Presidential Transition Team in 1992 and is the author of the new book Make It Plain: Standing Up and Speaking Out.

Mr. Lopate, I voted for Sen. Obama and his message in the election was change, now we see him appointing members of clinton's cabinet when his message against Sen. Clinton was change and not more of the same, how ironic?
