I believe that John Kerry was right when he said that the terrorism problem is more like a police action than a "war." Though I worry about what kinds of methods the CIA uses besides renditions, etc.

I'm in my car, usually, between 12 and 2. I punch buttons from Rush to you to WQXR and the Jazz station in Newark (button #1) whose call letters escape me at the moment.

I would very much like you to spend 45 minutes interviewing Sen. McCain and, separately, Sarah Palin.

Just do it.

Hi, I just heard a part of the show but was interested in listening to all of it. Is there anyway, I could listen to a recording or anything? Thanks

The Lopate Show responds: The audio from today's show will be available here by 3:30 pm ET.

I am already concerned that Leonard's liberal viewpoint will color this interview (Call me a worrier). I still can't forget the surprising hardballs he hurled against Anotoly Sharansky ,who many admire as hero, when he was on the show or similar given to Arlen Spector. A little fairness here....more akin to the manner of Brian Lehrer.
