Welcome to New York, Brother
Welcome to NYC, Mr. McKnight!
Just heard your interview by Leonard Lopate, and have two unrelated thoughts:
* I am always surprised when people speak of "seeing a concert." Probably because there is an inherent theatrical component to any performance of any type. Still....
* When it comes to mixing styles and genres of music, I always think of what Haydn said: "All music is good, but the boring kind."
Can't wait to hear your shows!
