I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the interview with Tony Martin. I was lucky enough to see him at the CBS Radio Studio in 1951,when he performed on a program along with Jo Stafford. What a voice and what a long marriage to Cyd. Tony seemed to stay the perfect gentleman. I especially liked his comment about a Jewish boy going to a Chatholic school. Thank you for bringing this to me via the computer. Dorothy

I thought this was a great interview. Tony sounded remarkable; he answered the questions beautifully, alert, clear, and with a sweet sentimentality. Since of course, he lost the beautiful Cyd, but together they will live forever. As the book said in '76, "The Two of Us"..Its a lesson for all marriages, SUPPORT EACH OTHER!(They didso with GENIUS!) Thank you Tony, and God Bless You and the family during this difficult time.

A wonderful interview. My wife and I traveled to NYC late last year just to attend Tony Martin's Oct 21-22 shows. It was pure magic, especially at a world class nightclub like Feinstein's. I've always loved Tony's vocal style and he sure is an important link to that great era of music. We had a chance to say hello to Tony and his lovely wife, Cyd Charisse and show them a vintage poster from the movie CASBAH (1948). I recommend that film to everyone for an example of Tony's great screen presence! Hope to hear Tony at another show someday!
