Life would be boring if we all went for the same music, books, movies and food...

I fell into the blog thing almost 3 years ago.
I have been steadily writing since March 2005 as 'Serge the Concierge' (www.sergetheconcierge.com)

I will also be presenting 'Just Over 50 and Not Dead Yet' at South by Southwest Interactive (in Austin) on March 8.

This panel will discuss how the online world is not populated just by 20 somethings.

an Elderblogger, one of the gazillion categories in the blogosphere, i'd read about boxer's book. delighted that lenorad lopate was so open to hearing about them and had two engaging bloggers on the show.

Whether it's about the poetry or the poets, it usually pretty interesting.

I spend about an hour or two every day visiting my favourite arts-related blogs. I'd rather do that in the evening than watch television. I've met several bloggers in person, after developing a friendship in the blogosphere. Stampington, a California-based publishing company, has a new issue of their "Artful Blogging" magazine in the bookstores this month. This is the second issue of Artful Blogging and it is beautiful! It's a collection of excerpts from their featured bloggers' blog posts along with examples of their artwork and links to their blogs.
As for me, I'll be tuning into this program. It's always interesting to hear of a new blog.

The whole idea of blogs is to cater to individual tastes. So who cares what someone else thinks about blogs? Why do I need the "wisdom" of some dork at the New York Times or another blogger to tell me what is good and what isn't?
