One great, unique book store that still thrives in Berkeley is Revolution Books at 2425 Channing Way, right near Berkeley campus.

Ultimately, the rivets did not sink the ship, but negligent navigation did. The Olympic sailed for a generation on the Atlantic with the same rivets and with no problem that Harland & Wolff couldn't handle.

What about the theory that posits the rivets were made of substandard iron and failed structurally?... I think this theory was suggested this past year.
