Great jazz pianist McCoy Tyner performs live in our studio! His new album is “Guitars.” He’s also celebrating his 70th birthday with a star-studded week at the Blue Note (131 W. 3rd St.) on Dec. 9-14, with guests including Marc Ribot, Savion Glover, Bill Frisell, and more.

I really enjoyed this show today, the music was amazing, kudos to Mr. McCoy Tyner and to all involved. McCoy Tyner, you are a national treasure, what a talent, thanks for bringing your passion for music to the airways. Happy Birthday and many more healthy years to come.

It would be great if you would arrange for McCoy to accompany Patti singing. She'll sound even better than usual.
