With oil prices reaching record highs recently, one of the hot topics of this year's Democratic convention in Denver has been energy policy. We look into the role energy policy is playing in this year's campaigns. Gene Karpinski, President of the League of Conservation Voters, joins us live from Denver.

How would you define a windfall in order to tax it? Would you also be willing to give oil companies subsidies in years when revenues plummet as they did in 1980's and 90's?

Senator Mc Cain has been in the senate for many, many more years than Senator Obama. Is that taken into account for the percentages quoted by your guest?
