In the West Bank with Palestinians and Israelis

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Foreign correspondent Philip Winslow spent 30 months in the West Bank with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). While there, he observed the routine violence, humiliation, and victimization faced by both Palestinians and Israelis. In Victory for Us Is to See You Suffer, Mr. Winslow attempts to show that when it comes to this intractable conflict, the people on the ground are the ones that suffer most.

mr. Winslow neglected to mention one simple fact, that after the Oslow conference and the great hand shake between Arafat and Rabin
1000 Israelis lost their lives because they believed peace was at hand.
The road blocks and the humiliation are to protect other lives that would be killed if only they can pass freely.

Mr.Winslow gives the impression that the Arabs are the indigenous people of what is called Palestine. This is historically inaccurate. They are actually only one of a lomg list of invaders of the Holyland.(Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Persians, Arabs,Seljuk Turks, Christians, Kurds, Mamlukes, Ottman Turks and British)
For 32,000 years Jews have coninuously lived there. The Arabs arrived a mere 1,400 years ago
They never created a political, economic or cultural entity in the area named by the Romans as Paleatine.Trith brings peace.Fiction encourages friction.

The fact you are not allowed to sleep with your own wife in her own home, and have to leave and area after your job is done, that is called Apartheid! This the exact policy the white South Africans did to the Black people!
