Ooops, make that my sister-in-law.
Please pass along my regards. I read Stones in the River many years ago and passed it along to my mother-in-law. She is a German Jew, grew up in Dusseldorf, and left, at age 15, after Krystallnacht. She found the book very reminicent of her experiences.
