How sad that in the current music business climate, Nonesuch is the exception rather than the rule: a company that cares about the quality of its product and assumes that their customers are discerning and worthy of respect. In most other industries, that is the basis of good business, but not in today's fast-food, shell-game music industry. The majors richly deserve their protracted and agonizing deaths. I coldly jeer at their death throes. The earth should be inherited by meek record labels such as Nonesuch and Six Degrees, and others for whom music represents the craftsman's artifact, not a french-fry with a 5 minute lifespan.
