This weekend, some of the country’s top pitmasters—from Texas, South Carolina, Mississippi…and even Manhattan—will fire up their smokers in Madison Square Park. Restaurateur Danny Meyer and food writers Matt and Ted Lee (authors of The Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook) join us for an on-air barbecue taste test.

Bib W's Barbeque in Wingdale, New York is my favorite. Warren's, A.K.A, Big W's, handrubbed, slow smoked (with apple, hickory hardwoods, ribs, beef brisket, whole chickens, and pulled pork is to die for. Just take 684 north and follow HWY 22 north to Wingdale. Look for the Pig, the smoke and the wonderful aroma as you come into Wingdale, New York.
His beans, steamed cabbage, dirty rice, rice pudding and smoked chilie is wonderful!

My back yard! My specialty: pulled pork, 16 hours on the charcoal grill and left to soak all night in the vinegar and pepper sauce.
Check YELP for some more good barbecue
RUB is good and a short walk away, but Dinosaur is worth a ride on the #1 anytime!
Blue Smoke! Great ribs...
