im a big fan of doris day I have all her music.I have all her movies but two.haven,t seen them starlift,caprice.

Leonard, I listen to you show every day, and always find your comments agreeable, but I was disappointed when you said: "you might even say 'Pillow Talk' was ok." "Pillow Talk" is a wonderful film; you should give it another view. True, it is not serious subject matter, however, "Pillow Talk" is a great kitsch flashback of mid-century nyc. It has even been lauded in more recent times with the remake/update "Down With Love," which was a wonderful tribute to the playful spirit of the film. Sometimes you just want to be entertained.

Wonderful interview. Let us hope that the tide has finally turned and this true American icon and amazing talent will get her due.

Lucy Ann Polk sounded like Doris Day only better with a wider range and a jazzier feel. Does anyone in this vast audience know what became of Ms. Polk and her singing brother Gordon? Are they still with us? I fear that Lucy, a fine singer, has been forgotten by everyone except me and possibly Lenny Lopate who usually remembers everything.

I very much enjoyed reading CONSIDERING DORIS DAY by Tom Santopietro. He did a very good job of telling his views on one of the most loved and talented actresses, Miss Doris Day.

During the early 1970's I was Doris Day's personal secretary while she was filming her hit TV show at CBS. What a great Lady!
