Leonard:
I was surprised that the fact that Dr. Gawande is a MacArthur fellowship winner was not mentioned either in the original broadcast or when you introduced the re-broadcast. The so called "genius grant" is hardly an item I would omit from the introduction.
Furthermore, the mention of Dr. Groopman, albeit in passing, seemed to convey the sense that it was no big deal to be a well regarded surgeon as well as a staff writer at New Yorker.
Hope this comment leads to some reflection and examination of your subconscious biases.
