Watching baseball over the past few days, I was struck by how intrusive the umpires have become. Jeez, they're *supposed* to pitch inside. They're *supposed* to try to break up the double play. After watching a bunch of micromanaged over-sized Little League, I felt kind of wistful hearing about Merkel's boner and such.
