In 1971, Daniel Ellsberg released the Pentagon Papers to the press. In his article "The Next War," in the October issue of Harper's, he says he regrets not leaking the information sooner, in order to stop the escalation of the Vietnam War. Now, he urges today's officials to take bold actions to prevent a war with Iran.
