On this week’s Please Explain, we'll learn about nanotechnology: technology on the scale of atoms and molecules that's measured in nanometers (which equal a millionth of a millimeter). Mike Treder, Executive Director of the Center for Responsible Nanotechnology and Sanjiv Sam Gambhir, M.D., Ph.D., Division Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Stanford University's School of Medicine, tell us how nanoscience could change the future of manufacturing.

Oops. Fascinating, not facinating.
Nanotechnology is absolutely fascinating. Mike Teder and Sanjiv Gambhir uncovered for us a new submicroscopic world about to uncover before our eyes in the very near future.It was also interesting to see the breakthroughs we make in the US, as a result of our innovative and entrepenurial spirit. We as a free society, never stop, always wanting to open another door. It never ends.
explain why nanotechnology is so important,and what positive effects would it have on society or my homelife.
