One survey found that during a 6 month period when over 500 American and Western allies died in Iraq…almost no pictures of their bodies made it into the mainstream press. New York Times culture reporter David Carr, Reuters general news editor Paul Holmes, and photographer Lucian Read discuss why there are so few images of dead soldiers.
