Poet and former lawyer Nick Laird may be best-known as Zadie Smith’s husband. But now he's gettng attention with his debut novel: Utterly Monkey. The "lad lit" tale follows the story of a dissatisfied and overworked 27-year-old man in Northern Ireland.
