My Year in Iraq

Wednesday, January 18, 2006

Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III was put in charge of supervising Iraq’s transition to democracy. He’s here today to talk about the challenges he faced, and to respond to critics who blame him for much of what went wrong in Iraq…from the strengthening insurgency to the increase in casualties. His new memoir is My Year in Iraq.

Music: “Raining Oil,” “Battery Run” and “Full Chemical Gear” from the Jarhead Soundtrack, composed by Thomas Newman; a Universal Classics release
