Edwidge Danticat's latest book, The Dew Breaker, is about a Haitian immigrant whose past as a "dew breaker" (a torturer) haunts him in his new life as a Brooklyn barber. Breath, Eyes, Memory and Krik? Krak! are Danticat’s previous novels.

Wednesday, April 7 at 6:30PM, Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway (at 95th), Peter Jay Sharp Theatre – An actor will perform one of Edwidge’s stories. Edwidge will introduce the story and sign copies of The Dew Breaker after the event.
Thursday, April 8 at 6:30PM, 192 Books, 192 10th Avenue (between 21st & 22nd) NYC 10011 – reading, Q&A and book signing
