I also specialize on performing arts in development programs. I have documented projects on Participatory democracy : role of women in rural India using Performing arts in Development. The issues I have documented are on Conflict resolution and cultural productions (reclaimimg cultural space in Kashmir) , food security, education of women, enhancing awareness of illiterate elected women in rural India. I have published a monograph and articles on Performing Arts in Development Communication.

I read about the work Mr. Steve McCurry has been doing in India as well as the interesting documentation of my ambiguous exasperating and yet exhilerating country. I am besides being a classical Indian dancer, a professor on performing arts in development programs also a cultural historian who does special showcasing of Indian cultural heritage. The educational cultural tours incorporate a significant number of Buddhist cultural regions. I look forward to interact with Mr. Steve McCurry.
