In an otherwise terrific interview, I was shocked to hear Alexandra Pelosi assert that the Right learned how to hate Obama from the Left's visceral dislike of Bush over the last eight years. That is bizarre on several levels: American history from the beginning is filled with examples of political hatred; and you don't have to go back further than the Right's abhorrence of Clinton.
