Tony Kushner’s been busy lately – he’s edited a new book on the progressive Jewish response to Zionism; his new play/musical at the Public Theater, ”Caroline, or Change,” is a hit; ”Angels in America.” has been re-adapted for HBO; and he’s even written a children’s book. He’s here to talk about his recent goings-on-about- town. Then Adam Goldberg on his role in the new action comedy, ”The Hebrew Hammer.” And a discussion with Judith Jamison, artistic director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Tony Kushner

Tony Kushner’s the playwright behind ”Caroline, or Change” and “Angels in America”; he’s an editor of Wrestling with Zion: Progressive Jewish-American Responses to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict; and he’s written Brundibar, a children’s book illustrated by Maurice Sendak.
